For getting rid of old car parts. I currently have 4 struts, a wheel bearing, and some brake pads and rotors hanging out in my garage taking up space.

Leave them on your curb on garbage night, the scrappers will pick them up.

Put them on the curb and start your stopwatch. Please report back with the time. But seriously, scrappers will snatch them up in a hurry.

It’s what I do with all my junk parts, just make sure you keep it under weight for pickup and your golden.
They have people paid to sort trash/recyclables/scrap at most facilities anyway, so I figure I’m just making their day more interesting.

It my town, anything metal that gets put out on garbage night will be snagged in minutes by a scrapper.
